Delmar Puppy Rescue would like to give a special thanks to Pilot Alan Lieberman for his dedication in helping to save our foster dogs.  Without his generosity flying our dogs to safety Trixie would not be with us today.

Do you have a story and photo you would like to share about your DPR adopted pup or dog?  We're looking for some laughs, maybe some tears, how they have changed your life, how they have touched your heart.  We will post your photo and story on our home page to share with all of our visitors.  Maybe, just maybe, you'll inspire someone to share their life with a homeless dog.

Please send a photo and your story to:

Samantha is an adorable Yellow Lab who is about one and half years old.  She is a sweet gentle girl that wants nothing more than your attention. She is high energy and loves to play ball. Her favorite is the big soccer ball that she chases around the yard. While other dogs are playing in the park, she would much rather be sitting in front of you. Samantha would be a great dog to do Agility with. She just wants to work for you. Although she is only 50 pounds, she is very confident and has a lot of heart. She would be great with an active family. Samantha loves kids and gets along very well with other dogs.
***Samantha has been through extensive obedience training with Wes Jensen at Arrowwood Shepherds (www.arrowwoodshepherds.org).  She has been trained in basic obedience, heeling on a leash and even to stop and sit when you stop walking, and she has learned not to jump on people.***
